The core program of crucial help at SDSS.
Serving the needs of patients referred to us from remote areas of Nepal, we help them “navigate” the complex process of accessing healthcare and recovery. Many of those most in need, face barriers to medical services in the “big city” due to societal attitudes, financial capacity, illiteracy, and basic know how.
We take these people under our care and guidance. We provide for their personal needs while guiding their medical treatments through to conclusion. Below are some of the ways we help.

CHILDRENS HEART PROJECT
Care for the needy little ones.
Hundreds of Nepali children suffer from congenital and rheumatic heart defects. When left untreated, ultimately it leads to early death. Specialist cardiac care easily saves the lives of these children and offers them a full and productive life.
CHILD REHABILITATION PROJECT
Creating Opportunity – Fulfilling Potential
This unique program enables children with disabilities to access rehabilitation care regardless of caste, religion, or creed.
The nature of rehab treatment often requires extended time in a specialized facility with individualized treatments. In addition to coordinating their health services, we provide financial and emotional support, and life-skills training to the child and their family.
Through this program, we minister to the whole person and introduce new paths of possibility and fullness of life.
